Commission work

We are happy to discuss with our customers the possibility of commissioned work. We have in the past undertaken many interesting commissions depicting animal silhouettes for example. Higas for Spain, Hitikis for New Zealand and many other amulets, in fact we will have a go at anything our customers can imagine. This is of course subject to the suitability of the raw material to the job and its availability in the required size, but an e-mail with as much detail as possible, or an attachment containing a basic drawing would start the ball rolling and we are always happy to advise. Items featured on this page may be repeated but really this a page that features some of my more innovative work and acts as a 'showcase' or 'gallery' of some "one off" pieces.

	Ammonite with carved snakeshead (COM001) The ammonite Hildoceras is used here to illustrate the Whitby legend of St Hilda. She is reputed to have turned a plague of serpents into stone while clearing the ground for her abbey. She had removed their heads with a switch before tossing them over the cliff to be turned into stone. Here we have introduced a carved serpents head from Whitby Jet with amber eyes and fangs carved from mammoth ivory. Each one I carve will be completely unique.	£79.50
	Maltese cross drops (CUSDES001) These jointed drops are just an example of one of the many styles that have been sent to us and fashioned in Jet. The main body of the ear drop measures 23x23mm on a 10mm stud. Sizes can of course be made to suit individual requirements. Suggest a shape for a truly unique pair of earrings.	£99.50
	Dolphins with shell studs (DOLPH001) These dolphins are a typical example of ear drops portraying a silhouette of an animal. Anything with a recognisable shape would lend itself to this treatment:- cats, bats.moon and stars etc. Size 50mm long.	£99.50
	Seahorses with shell studs (SEAH002) These much admired creatures with their recognisable profile lend themselves perfectly to the silhouette treatment. Size 42mm long.	£99.50
