In this section there will be a range of unusual items and rarities such as ammonites with a Whitby Jet snakes head after the legend of St Hilda. Also hatpins carved and inlaid in various ways, which were such a major feature of 19thC attire and now greatly sought after by collectors. Not forgetting the ever popular Whitby Winkle, the attractive little talisman that brings good fortune. This range will be gradually extended as items are requested and as with all our work we are happy to discuss any specific requirements, please e-mail us to discuss other options. Carved cufflinks (CCUFF001)

The hatpin is making a come back as the fashion for wearing hats returns. These are just two examples. On the left a tri facet piece with a carved detail at the end and on the right the internal facet diamond carving. I can make a hat pin with any of the 'Victorian' designs I do.
