Open rose

This pair of roses gives a more open effect to the petals, and without the leaves that are carved on the Yorkshire rose bead studs, more of a flat presentation.
It is at its most effective when carved at approximately 10 - 12mm. Although this is a most popular style and I have carved many already, each pair I do is slightly different and is a unique pair, all part of the joy of hand carved jewellery.
