OUR WHITBY JET
We guarantee all our jewellery is made with genuine Whitby jet. We sign and date a certificate of authenticity with everything we produce. All our jet is collected locally along an 8 mile stretch of Yorkshire coastline and is found through natural coastal erosion.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
UK (including the channel islands) - Orders under £50 are sent by Royal Mail Signed For delivery at the cost of £5.55, estimated delivery time 1-2 working days* from date of dispatch. Orders over £50 are sent by Royal Mail Special delivery at the the cost of £7.65, delivery guaranteed by 1pm next working day from date of dispatch.
INTERNATIONAL - We use Royal Mail Internationally Signed For delivery to post our international orders. Cost is subject to geographical location. Estimated delivery time is 6-10 working days*. All taxes and duties incurred once the shipment has reached the destination country is the responsibility of the customer.
*Estimated delivery time from day of dispatch. Day of dispatch dependant on item being in stock. Custom made items will take longer to be dispatched.
MAKING YOUR ORDER
All our stock is lovingly handmade in our studio workshop in Whitby, North Yorkshire. Due to the handmade nature of our jewellery it can take up to 14 days to make and dispatch items. It is our priority to get your item to you as fast as possible so dispatch is usually much quicker than 14 days.
If your item is required urgently then please email us an we will endeavour to meet your schedule.
RETURNS
We always want our customers to be happy with their purchase, As each piece is unique and handmade there may be slight variations from the website image. However, if you would like to return or exchange an item please contact us via email. Returns will be accepted 14 days after you receive your item. This doesn't apply to bespoke or personalised jewellery unless it is faulty. Replacements are at my own discretion and may incur extra postage costs, please ensure that any item being returned is in perfect condition, in their original packaging and sent by either Signed For or Special Delivery. Unfortunately I cannot refund postage unless the item is faulty. If your purchase from The Whitby Jet Heritage Centre is faulty we will happily repair or replace it.
